Le Puits

L’artiste italien Loris Cecchini a décidé d’habiller la margelle d’un puits dans le quartier de New Bell Ngangué avec des moulages de bidons de différents formats, servant à récupérer et à conserver l’eau des puits ou d’autres sources. Le Puits, sculpture ornementale, s’insère ainsi dans l’environnement urbain très dégradé du quartier.

Une variante de conception a été réalisée par Kamiel Verschueren, Lucas Grandin et Kaleb de Groot.

The Italian artist Loris Cecchini decided to cover the rim of a pit used in the district of New Bell Ngangué with molding cans of different shapes, which are used to collect and to retain water from wells and other sources. Le Puits, an ornamental sculpture, was then integrated in the extremely deteriorated urban environment
of the district.
An alternative design was realized by Kamiel Verschuren, Lucas Grandin and Kaleb de Groot.
